ASP Explorer visiting COL 173 SECTOR LY-Q D5-13 AB 9 A
The ASP Explorer is the ship I have been using the most. As the name implies it is great for exploration due to a very good jump range, but it is a very versatile ship that is also great for trading with rares and very useful as a small passenger transport as the jump range make it very good for those long range sightseeing missions. I also like to use it for mining as the weapons allow you to defend yourself against pirates.
It has decent weapons so you can defend yourself if attacked by pirates but it is not a combat ship so be careful who you engage.
Notice: If you are looking for an exploration ship, the Diamondback Explorer is about 5M cr cheaper (for a long range exploration configuration) and has a slightly better jump range than the Asp.
