NATO Helicopter NH 90 - Revell 04403
For a long time I have been wanting to build a NH-90 sadly have not found any kits being produced currently. Instead I found this old kit on eBay. I wanted to build the NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH) variant, especially the RNLAF version but sadly this Revell kit is based on an early prototype and is missing all the sensors and stuff. I had preferred to get a more detailed 1:48 kit but this 1:72 kit was all I could find. I truly hope that some company will start a new production of this beautiful helicopter in both TTH and NFH variants and in both 1:72 and 1:48 please 🙂

Pros
- Easy build with nice fitting, only few places needed plastic putty.
- Decal options for two versions, incl. RNLAF.
Cons
- Cockpit is very generic and does not look anything like the real NH90 cockpit!
- Seat placements in cargo space does not match any pictures I have ever seen of a NH90.
- Revell logo on inside of cargo space, bad for realism!
- All in all realism is not very good compared to NFH and TTH variants in service now.
