The Federal Corvette<\/strong>\u00a0is an impressive combat ship; with two huge weapons, one large, two medium and two small weapon slots this is currently the most powerful ship in the game! It can also fit a fighter bay with two small fighters.<\/p>\n

The weapons are placed on both sides, on top and below so with turrets the ship is well covered from almost all angles.<\/p>\n

The main disadvantage is a short jumprange.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anaconda vs Federal Corvette vs Imperial Cutter<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compared to the Anaconda and Imperial Cutter, the Corvette has the best maneuverability and most powerful weapons.<\/p>\n

Speed is slightly lower than the Cutter but better than an Anaconda.<\/p>\n

The shield is much stronger than the Anaconda (555 vs 350) but not as strong as\u00a0 the Cutter (600).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most of the core internals are similar size in the Anaconda and Corvette e.g. both use a Class 8 power distributer, Class 7 thruster and Class 6 frame shift drive; however the Corvette has a much bigger mass resulting in shorter jump range. The Cutter has the smallest power distributor (Class 7) so it will not be able to keep the most powerful weapons firing as long as the Anaconda and Corvette.\u00a0<\/p>\n
