I don't see any reason to buy the Asp Scout - I only bought it to try it out. It is a good ship for exploration but due to limited internal compartments it is not very versatile.<\/p>\n

With a price tag of 3,862,130 cr it is more than twice as expensive as a Diamondback Explorer<\/a> (price: 1,635,691 cr) which is currently my favorite ship for exploration - however the Asp Scout has slightly worse jump range and cargo capacity; why is it then more expensive?\u00a0The Diamondback also have stronger weapons and for the money you save you can buy e.g. an Advanced Discovery Scanner and still have some spare credits.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Asp is a nice exploration ship and handles surprisingly well even with standard trusters, but the price is way too high compared to the Diamondback Explorer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I recommend that you either save some money and buy the Diamondback Explorer or the larger Asp Explorer<\/a> for a very nice versatile ship.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
