The Adder<\/strong> is a nice upgrade from Sidewinder for trading, exploration and for combat.<\/p>\n

The Adder has a cargo capacity of 26t which is 16t more than the Sidewinder.\u00a0<\/span>The max jump range is\u00a032,1\u00a0ly compared to only 23,62 ly in a Sidewinder.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Adder has the same speed but is slightly less manoeuvrable compared to the Sidewinder.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With one Class 2 and two Class 1 weapons this is a nice upgrade to both the Sidewinder and Hauler<\/a> for combat\/self protection.<\/p>\n

The Adder is a nice little ship for getting started on exploring the E:D universe with a good jump range cargo limit compared to its size and price. Taking the Adder out on a nice long range exploration trip will earn you a lot of money for your next ship e.g. a Cobra Mk. III<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Should you buy an Adder or a Hauler?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No matter which ship you buy, you will probably want to sell it as soon as you can buy a Cobra Mk III, so it really isn't that important which one you buy now.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Adder is more 67% more expensive than the Hauler but only carry 2t = 18% more cargo. The Adder is slightly faster (220 vs 200 m\/s) than the Hauler.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The jump range is similar but the Hauler is a little better for long jumps.<\/p>\n
